HTML Preview — Live HTML Viewer

HTML Preview renders your markup live as you type, inside a sandboxed frame. It is a quick way to check an email template, a snippet from documentation, a component prototype or a page generated by another tool, without creating files or starting a local server.

Switch between desktop, tablet and mobile widths to see how your layout responds at common breakpoints.

How to use

  1. Paste or type HTML into the editor, or click Sample to load an example page.
  2. The preview updates automatically as you type.
  3. Use Desktop, Tablet (768px) or Mobile (375px) to check the layout at different screen widths.
  4. Click New Tab to open the page in a real browser tab, or Download to save it as an .html file.

Tips

  • Include a <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1"> tag — without it, mobile browsers render the page zoomed out.
  • Inline <style> blocks and CSS from public CDNs work in the preview.
  • For HTML emails, test at mobile width: most email is read on phones.

Frequently asked questions

Does JavaScript run in the preview?
Yes. Scripts run inside the preview frame so you can test interactive snippets. Only preview HTML you trust, because scripts and external resources in the markup will execute and load.
Is my HTML uploaded anywhere?
No. The preview is rendered locally in your browser. Only resources your markup links to (such as images or CDN stylesheets) are fetched.
